Transform Your Relationships ~ Awaken Your Power

Transform Your Relationships ~ Awaken Your Power

Path to Self-Empowerment

 Self-Empowerment Through Intuition & Connection

True empowerment begins within.

Life tends to chip away at our full sense of self. This leaves us feeling increasingly adrift, empty and unfulfilled. Even when we are outwardly successful, these feelings can sometimes overwhelm us. We need a way to repair this. Having a solid sense of self and confidence in who we are and what we are capable of is essential to our success.

  • How do you measure your success?
  • Do others see you as successful, but you still do not FEEL successful?

This is a direct result of our wholeness being impacted by our experiences.
It is a sign of our separation from Spirit or source, separation from our core.
Our natural state is one of JOY and PEACE.
It is time to come back to the state of JOY and PEACE as our undercurrent - the foundation of our being.

Join Empowerment Coach Geralyn St Joseph as she walks with you through a Path to Self-Empowerment.

The Gift of Frustration

We’ve all had those moments when we feel so frustrated. It can be quite obvious, or we may not even know what we are frustrated about. Frustration is your spirit’s way of letting you know that you are not being authentic to yourself. You may be doing what needs done, or fighting for survival, but when frustration becomes your primary emotion, maybe even your undercurrent, it’s time to step back.

Even when the frustrations are small, examine what you are doing and thinking. How are you not honoring your Self? Where is the disconnect? Are you agreeing to things just to keep the peace? Giving someone else credit where it is NOT due? Allowing someone to bully you into a corner? It can be subtle things, easily explained away. It might be big things that greatly affect you. Regardless of the size of the issue, the manipulation, the allowing, once frustration becomes present, your soul is crying out to be heard.

The gift of frustration is that it is a red flag, a signpost, a communication from our highest selves that we need to take a moment to consider what we are thinking, how we are behaving and why. It is one of our strongest self-defense mechanisms to preserve our authentic selves.

So the next time you feel that frustration creeping up on you, instead of setting it aside, give it a look. It just may be your soul letting you know that you are not being true to your Self. Frustration is a true gift indeed.

What is stopping you from getting the help you need?

We all need a helping hand at some point, yet for various reasons we fail to ask for help or accept help when it is offered.
You may fear the vulnerability of asking for help or not trust that it will be there when you’re counting on it.  If lacking trust is your issue, then you need to start small.  Ask for things you know you can handle on your own but allow others to give you the gift of helping you.  You can slowly allow yourself to let others become more important your life.  Be honest about what you see and trust the trustworthy.  Be realistic about what you are asking of someone else.  Do not ask for things you know they cannot help you with just to prove to yourself that no one is trustworthy.
You may carry the belief that you are undeserving; that you’re meant to do everything on your own.  You may fear judgment, to be viewed as weak.  In either case, your lack of self-worth needs to be addressed. There are many ways to do this, but this post would be too long for me to describe them. Two solutions would be either engaging in a SelfEmpowerment Course [like the one I will be hosting beginning on Dec 8, 2014] or seeking help from an individual like Syd Vitale [check out his info on this blog]
Or you may have a martyr complex; preying on others’ good natures to get attention and singing ‘O woe is me’ regardless of the situation. If this is you, some thought needs to be given as to why you feel you need to be constantly the focus of attention.
Be honest with yourself to discern what the issue really is.

I am here to tell you that it takes far more courage to ask for and accept the help of others than it does to try and do everything on your own.  There’s nothing to prove and no one to prove it to, except your self.
When we allow others into our lives and allow them to help us become more successful we give them a gift as well as accepting gifts from them.  It feels good to help others, do not deny others that same feeling. As human beings we seek community. Be a part of that community and thrive.
Blessings!
